General Partner in SportsLeasing, "Kit" Menkin founded American Leasing,  Santa Clara, in 1971, and was a general partner Medallion Leasing, 1974,  Dividend Leasing in 1978, and a founding director of Meridian National Bank, 1981.

He is a graduate of Santa Monica City College, attended UCLA, and has continued his education at several junior colleges, private schools, and taken university courses.

He is very active in the community, former director of CASA (Community Against Substance Abuse); was very active as a parent in school sports, including YMCA, Cub and Boy Scouts, and is past chairman of the San Jose Four County Salvation Army Rehabilitation Board.

His role at American Leasing is funding of leases and development of investors.
